Hypercode Blog, #Team
A Hole-in-One Under Blacklight ⛳
Although not everyone could make it, our team played its way from hole to hole through the colourful blacklight worlds. With our 3D glasses on, we passed glowing temples, ventured into space and explored neon cyberpunk cities. Some of us were holding a minigolf club for the first time, but that hardly slowed them down: even the first-timers sank their balls in just a few strokes. There were strong performances all round and a few holes-in-one to celebrate. ⛳
Afterwards, we rounded off the evening with good food and drinks. It was lovely to spend some more time together outside the office. Another successful team outing — we’d happily do it again!
Hypercode wants you!

What’s it like to work at Hypercode? What matters to us? And, of course, which roles are we hiring for? Our new careers page is a place to get to know us beyond our projects. If you’re interested in planning, designing and building digital products — or know someone who is — take a look at hypercode.de/en/careers/.
It’s already working well: in the short time since launch, we’ve filled our first vacancies. Today, we’ve also added a listing for speculative applications in software development.
Hypercode × awork: Making Client Projects Work
Project management tools came and went. Honestly, none of us ever got particularly excited about them. 🙈
Then, over two and a half years ago, we discovered awork. We’ve been using the Hamburg team’s software to organize our projects ever since, and we’ve become fans. Last year, we even released our own awork extension for Raycast to make it an even closer part of our product development workflow.
We were pleased to welcome the awork team to our office recently to discuss how we use the software, particularly when working with clients directly in a project. Joining us was Florian Ehle from dimedis, a client we work with in awork every day, including on trade fair and event apps.
The awork team listened closely to our feedback and made the video above during their visit. Bringing the studio, client and partner perspectives together is what makes this useful for us. Thanks for coming and for the open conversation! 🙌
Insert Team Event to Start 🕹️
A few weeks ago, we swapped mice and keyboards for joysticks for an afternoon and evening together. Our team, ranging from occasional players to dedicated gamers, worked its way through the arcade machines, game stations and interactive “The Floor Is Lava” game floor. With team challenges, new rivalries friendly duels and single-player action, there was something for everyone.
Some of us are still building towers in our heads, while others discovered that a slight height advantage could make them either unbeatable or indispensable in certain games (🏀). Add plenty of laughs, good conversations and a relaxed dinner afterwards, and it made for a lovely evening. A reminder that we work well together — and play pretty well together, too.
