We made a few small but excellent changes to last year’s program. Tekken took over from Street Fighter, and pizza made way for our very own barbecue master Michael, who kept us supplied with fantastic pulled-beef burgers all evening. Everything else followed last year’s winning formula: good conversations, plenty of laughter and a few soft drinks and Kölsch beers between table tennis matches.

Thank you to everyone who made it another great party, and to all our colleagues, clients and partners for four years of trust and collaboration. And a special thank you to Michael for his outstanding work at the barbecue!

Dear clients, partners and friends,

After two years of the pandemic, this year brought unexpected challenges of its own, from social issues to geopolitics and energy policy. Yet these past and ongoing crises have also shown us that, when we can rely on each other and work together, we can overcome obstacles, solve complex problems and change things for the better.

That holds true for our work with you, too. We pull together to get the best possible digital products on the road — sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally. Today, that work takes us beyond Cologne, from Hamburg to Tel Aviv, with start-ups, medium-sized businesses and large corporations.

Video calls may be our go-to, and we wouldn’t want to give up working from home. But we’re delighted to have moved into our own new office this spring, where we’ve already welcomed many of you.

Thank you for your trust, the exciting projects and the good times we’ve shared despite everything this year. We wish you and your team a wonderful festive season and a successful start to 2023!

That called for a celebration, so last week we did just that. On 1 July, we invited our colleagues, families and friends to our first “Hypercode Family & Friends” party. Great weather, good food, a well-stocked drinks selection and an equally well-stocked library of retro games made for a lovely evening at our new office at WALZWERK in Pulheim.

Thank you for turning out in such numbers, for all the gifts (enough to throw another party straight away… 🤔) and for the great conversations, Street Fighter rounds and table tennis matches. Here’s to the next few years — and parties — together! 🎉

We found it just outside Cologne in March and moved in at the start of April. The modern loft at WALZWERK in Pulheim covers almost 200 m², just one train stop — an eight-minute ride — from Cologne-Ehrenfeld station. Two and a half floors and a roof terrace give us room to grow, now and in the years ahead.

WALZWERK is a former industrial site with excellent transport links to Cologne. Since 2005, it has been home to TV productions including “Bares für Rares”, artists’ studios, restaurants and businesses working in services, retail, digital technology and culture. Pipes and cold-rolled strip steel were still being produced here in the early 1990s. Today, the site brings modern workplaces and a lively cultural and leisure scene together.

We’re looking forward to welcoming clients, partners and friends to our new office, affectionately named “Hyperspace Two”. For the record, “Hyperspace One” was our old office at WeWork on Friesenplatz in Cologne. Come and visit:
