The Future of Trade Fairs: connect circle 2025

The event opened with an evening of networking and conversation. It was a chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet new people — a warm welcome that set the tone for the days ahead.

Day two focused on the future of trade fairs. Talks and discussions explored the balance between digital services and physical experiences, ways to generate revenue from digital touchpoints and new measures of trade fair success. We particularly enjoyed the range of perspectives, including insights from Messe Düsseldorf and Koelnmesse. One thing was clear: smart technology has become essential to sustained growth in the trade fair industry.

We’ve been helping dimedis develop its digital products since 2021, particularly through planning, design and development for LeadMate and the FairMate Event App. It was valuable to see these topics take center stage at connect circle, and to explore what digital products can do for the wider trade fair industry. We came away with plenty of ideas and look forward to putting them into practice with dimedis.
