Built from our daily work with awork

We use awork to organise projects with our clients. The extension grew out of the small things that come with that: capturing a follow-up during a client call, finding the task a colleague just mentioned, or logging time after a review. Each is a quick action — until you have to navigate back through your project workspace.

Being able to create and edit tasks was the most requested addition to the extension. It closes a gap in that workflow: finding a task in Raycast no longer means opening the browser just to change a detail. And a new follow-up can go straight into the project you’re already looking at.

With @awork in Raycast AI, you can also turn a request like “Create a task to review the homepage in our website project” into an awork task, with the details shown for your confirmation.

Installation & Authorization

To use this extension you need to add an API client to awork. You can add this under "Settings / Integrations / API clients" and you may need admin rights. However, the users of the extension will only be able to see/access the projects that they are individually allowed to see in your workspace.

Please enter something like:

  • Name: awork Extension for Raycast
  • Client ID: raycast-awork-extension
  • Redirect URI: https://raycast.com/redirect?packageName=Extension (hit the "+")

Then copy/save the generated new client secret.

After installing the extension from the Raycast store, you'll need to enter your client ID and client secret. You will be prompted to login on an awork login page, which will then redirect you back to Raycast. That's it.
