chargecloud brings all the processes needed to operate EV charging infrastructure together in one modular, cloud-based platform. Energy suppliers, fleet operators, municipal utilities and e-mobility service providers can control and monitor their charging points and bill charging sessions efficiently, giving them the flexibility to develop their businesses over time.

Hypercode helped chargecloud present its comprehensive software platform online. The new website needed to match the standards users knew from the product’s usability and technology. Working closely with the chargecloud team, we planned, designed and built a completely new, custom website in 2024, five years after our first website relaunch together.

UX/UI Design

The relaunch began with a clear strategic direction. In a series of workshops with the chargecloud team, we defined the goals and approach for the new website, developed initial concepts and established how the site could support the sales process.

This work led to a tailored concept that combines classic design elements with unexpected, interactive components. The site presents chargecloud’s extensive services clearly and makes them easy to explore. The result is a modern corporate website that is easy to use and puts the brand’s capacity for innovation and its focus on the future at the center of the experience.

Technologies

To build a fast, modern website that can be extended over time, we combined an API-based headless architecture with a single-page application (SPA). Separating content from presentation makes page transitions almost instant and supports a responsive user experience on chargecloud.de.

Craft CMS provides the content through a REST API. A single-page application built with Vue.js and Nuxt.js retrieves and renders it quickly in the frontend. APIs also connect external services, including a CRM application, directly to the website.
